X5 (4.8) --> Tires

I currently have the 19 inch on the X5, year 2007.
Wanted to know, if 20 or the 21 inch would be okay to drive in the snow.
I live in the New England region.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Driving in Snow

In general, it's not the tire diameter.
Rather, it's the aspect ratio and tire type.
A "fat" tire (low aspect ratio) tends to ride on the snow, rather than plowing into it, thus creating a very slippery situation!
Also, you need to look for an all season tire rather than a performance one.
