So I must be the weird guy... I like the badging on the BMW's now. Dont yell, I did admint I am the weird one.

Scott - can you post a picture of the clear side markers. Would like to see if that is a change I should make or not. Did they mention in the factory tour if the performance upgrade is an aftermarket kit also? I didnt have the option at build time to get that put on mine.

I am pretty sure it is a dealer "accessory" for 2011 ...

Agreed! I definitely think they look better than the 259's.

The (new) 335's and the (y-spoke) 214's are the best for the X6 ... IMO

I just put in my order though on April 22nd so you have a much better shot at an early build date. I wonder if they do all X6 one week and then X5 or if they build mixed on the line... would be good to know.

As I was just literally just in the factory during my performance pickup I can tell you definitively both X6 and X5 are made together on the same lines. I took a 2hr+ tour and saw both being built. the factory is amazing to see. the robot are so cool, as I watching the robots doing their dance i couldn't help but think terminator and skynet.

LCann - I just called the 1-800 number and they said my car is in production. It has an estimated completion date of May 5th! You should call and see if there is an update on yours. About 2 hours ago it still said it was unscheduled.

I know-my CA said 6 weeks. When I checked on 4/25, it was still "on order". But now the website shows the car at the performance center. Too good to be true??

You may want to check with your CA, since they have an online system that Customers can't use ("Dealer Speed"). This way you can confirm what your seeing online!
