And I agree with your earlier post. A Druid would be a highly possible character, maybe more than a ranger. But still, it's hard to think of a Diablo game without a character that primarily uses a bow...

Yeh maybe ranger/archer wasnt the right term. But i did hear something about a projectile class, maybe a guy with bombs/shurikens/guns? i dunno.

it could be a hunter with tamed pets or the druid that can shapeshift....HECK why not just add all the classes of WoW into DIII! lmao.

im actually surprised that they dont have a class that fully utilized a shield yet (paladin/knight class). i still remember my pally using these uber one handed sword and shield.

i guess we gotta wait...besides we got more than a year to wait now

you bet they will be. just like when diablo 2 came out the maximum (and only) resolution was 640x480 and the game engine barely tapped into capabilities of 3d hardware that was available at the time.

diablo 3 definitely looks a lot more promising in terms of graphics but i'm sure by 2011 it will be 2 years behind newest games.

2012: wow xpack, possibly unannounced MMO but I doubt they would release it anywhere near WoW. Since they share a market.

this actually seems realistic. i also believe D3 will come out in 2011. i really don't think they need 2 more years to release it. while it's true they have yet to release the rest of the character classes, balance them and finish off all the locations but 2 years seems unlikely since it seems like the most of the work has already been done.

I think you meant 2010 for SC2 (since it's not coming out in the next week). 2011 for D3 for sure.

I think they are only doing 1 more xpack for wow. I thought I read that somewhere, but I'm not sure. If they keep selling, they will keep making for sure.

My predictions for SC2 are not mistaken as I didn't cover 2010 in my list. 2010 is already (mostly) set in stone. We will be getting the first of three SC2 games (SC2:Terran), and WoW:Cataclysm.

Elaborating a bit on my list from a few posts back, and knowing that Blizzard likes to have 2 year life cycles on its games/expansions. I predicted the second of three SC2 games (SC2:Zerg) will be coming in 2011 because the originally planned release of SC2:Terran was suppose to be late 2009. Assuming that SC2:Terran's delays (which were mentioned to have been caused by their implementation of the new Battle.net functionality) do not affect their future releases then a 2011 SC2:Zerg release would make sense. However, this may end up being unlikely since they might not want to have a big Diablo 3 release and then a SC2 sequel in the same year. And while Blizzard has a history of releasing 1 title per year they mentioned they would like to start doing 2 per year at the last BlizzCon. But I wouldn't be surprised if 2011 gave us only Diablo 3, with 2012 giving us the new MMO and SC2:Zerg.
