I know this is a X6M build. But thought you x5 guys would like it too

Own N.C.A. Motorsports in Skokie Illinois and we have a customer that wanted to do full build. He wanted downpipes, a tune, intakes, exhaust, and to upgrade the turbos. So we went ahead and ordered everything for him. The downpipes are Active Autowerkes downpipes, and then tune is from BPM Sport, intakes are from RK, Eisenmann exhaust from IND but the exhaust is from the F85/F86 body and as made it fit on the E71 due to customer wanting the 102mm tips, and then Turbos will be being sent out to Pure Turbos for stage 2 upgrade. Also purchased the IND cosmetic package and the H&R Sport springs with links for the rear to lower it. Had the car wrapped satin black as well. Also dyno run before pure turbos!

I have almost the same setup;
-AA downpipes
-AA stage 2+ tune
-Stage 2 Pure Turbos
-RK Intakes
...but with stock exhaust (For now ) and larger tips...
The downpipes themselves add a significant amount of volume along with pops and cracks when you let off the gas.

Still looking for an AWD dyno near me that I can feel good about.
Interested to see your before and after dyno sheets.

Satin black wrap is sweet!!!
keep it coming!

Sorry totally forgot to post the dyno numbers but right now we're at 498whp and 565wtq. We should be a lot more because we're switching the tune to another company and then adding a jb4 to it and going to be able to also run e85

Looks like you had a busted turbo. Mine looked just like that when I pulled them and sent them to Pure. One had a big dried up oil spill like that and it was smoking out of the exhaust

Where did you get the JB4? We've ordered one twice and both times they have sent the wrong one + the one for our trucks are not listed on their website anymore... only the stage 1, which doesn't have all the features....

I thought terry said he wasn't going to sell or support the jb4 for the e70 x5m\x6m anymore because of low sales.

I've also contacted MHD to see if they are willing to work on custom flashes\backend flashes for us and they are to busy with other projects to even consider the e70 x5m, we get no tuner love at all, need to trade mine in for an m5 :-/

You can order the N63 JB4 and flash the S63 firmware onto it, just expect zero to little support other than the existing JB4 thread with input from users and occasionally from Terry.

Replace ALL the vacuum lines with silicone while the turbos are out, it'll be far easier to get to. Also delete the T running to the vacuum line that feeds into the passenger side fender, eliminating a potential vacuum leak that runs the entire length of the vehicle...I put up with random reduced power warnings for almost a year before finally deleting that T and the hardline that was clearly cracked somewhere.

Would that the the vacuum line that controls the exhaust valves?

That's the one. I still got random reduced power warnings even with the lines plugged in the trunk because I still had a leak somewhere between the trunk and engine bay.

Bump for updates on this thread and who the tuner is.

Was the exhaust a direct fit for the e71 or a little modification? Yall said the exhaust was meant for the f86?
