X6 insurance?

I was wondering how expensive it is to insure the vehicle before I make the purchase. Can you guys tell me how much you pay? thanks

It is all relative. Age, driving record, number of cars, etc.

I pay $1100 per year for a 2008 X6 and a 2008 VW GTI.

My previous bimmer was a 2005 BMW 645. The car cost $10k more and the insurance was the same. So given the X6 is three years newer and costs less than a 6 series, I would guess the overall insurance rate is about 10-15% more.

Just go to geico or progressive type your info in and you can get a quote based on your info.

I did, it was pretty outrageous. At least $5000 a year for both an X6 and a Nissan murano. Clean records too.
Some places quoted me $3,000 for a 6 month period.

I use to live in NYC and the insurance on my car was ridiculous compared to what I pay now in so cal. Like the perivous guy said, depends on age, location blah blah blah.
