He's not like that in real life / UK version of kitchen nightmares... They had to revamp and cater to what Americans will buy into... FYI...

I hate the image. He is being rude to people who look up to him and he is being a bully to the people below him.

Then again, I am not a person who would go eat in his or any others restaurants, but my meat guy calls me a nazi (to my face).

Don't blame him, blame the writers and producers... He's NOT like that for the British version of the show...

I found it to be so boring....everything about it was horrible. There is absolutely 0 chemistry between Chris and Matt...everything just felt so fake and rehearsed. With the old crew, you could tell they were fluid with how they went about each segment and the chemistry was there. I was watching it yesterday and the whole time i was just thinking to myself wow, this sucks.

Revamped motoring show Top Gear endured a torrid return to British TV screens on Sunday after losing viewers.
Bosses at the show’s broadcaster, the BBC, controversially parted ways with the program’s previous presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond last year, and replaced them with a team of presenters led by British TV host Chris Evans, 50, and actor Matt LeBlanc, 48.
The opening episode featuring the new team was watched by only 4.37 million Britons, around 300,000 fewer than tuned in for the previous season opener with Clarkson, Hammond and May.
The figure from TV ratings analysis firm overnights.tv, also fell well below Evans’ expectations.
“If we had to guess about the number of viewers we are going to get on Sunday night, you have got to say you would be disappointed if it was under 5 million,” he told Britain’s The Guardian newspaper ahead of the show’s launch.
As well as losing viewers, the Top Gear reboot drew intense criticism from those who had tuned in to watch, with fans and celebrities taking to social media to slam the show.
Evans in particular was a magnet for negative views, with many comparing him unfavourably with the departed trio of presenters, who left after Clarkson was axed for hitting one of the show’s producers.
British TV presenter Carol Vorderman sarcastically wrote on Twitter, “Could CHRIS EVANS SPEAK UP A LITTLE COS HE ISN’T SHOUTING ENOUGH X #TopGearNot”.
The former Countdown star later added, “Sorry #TopGear ... switching off”.
Evans’ fellow presenter LeBlanc received a more favourable response from fans, with one user with the handle @JoeW_P, writing, “Seriously though, @Matt_LeBlanc is a great presenter, Chris @achri*****s just ruins it.”
Top Gear returns to screens on Britain’s BBC2 channel on Sunday, when Evans and LeBlanc will be joined by their co-hosts, motor sport entrepreneur Eddie Jordan, racing driver Sabine Schmitz and journalists Chris Harris and Rory Reid.
Its former presenters Clarkson, May and Hammond have a new motoring show on Amazon’s internet TV streaming service coming out later this year.

as was the 1:1 copied format and the Stig jokes... yikes. Is it worth revisiting after they settled in? The hosts were pretty charismatic.

Take it for what it is, the latest seasons are much better.
