Foglight Bulb Swap
Was just wondering if anyone here swapped the factory fog bulbs out and put aftermarket ones. Reason I'm asking is because I prefer the color of my foglights to match the color of my headlights. If so, which brand/bulb are you using and are they error-code free? Looking at these so far.

I installed the nokya h11 on my fogs. They r a little more blue than the headlights. Led whites will be closer. You can get leds for 25.
I'll try to take pics of the nokya this week |

If its a bit more blue, I actually don't mind that, when you installed them, did you have any codes pop up?

Oh no codes. That's why I went with halogen vs led. Although I have Carly to code it off. I'll try to take a pic tonight. It's more like the color 6k hid. Bluish white. The oem hid headlights are 5k or 4300 so a bit on the whitish yellow side.

I've done xenons on fogs in other cars and it sucked. Too bright for fogs, the light was scattered and blinding to others. I haven't tried on the x5 but assuming it may be the same. Bulbs r worth the try. Plus our fogs come on softly when we turn the wheel, LEDs and xenons won't like that
