I went to test drive a 50i yesterday & was informed that I could lock in the holiday rebate/financing for 60 days if I order before the end of the month...has anyone heard that?

That's what I was told...
Just ordered my X5 3.5i on Thursday and the Sales Mgr told that the rebate and rates were locked in once the captive financing application was submitted.

did u give a deposit already? and if u wanna get a reduced price, first goto another dealer that will match or offer u a lower price than the one now ( at lest 2k+, since most dealer at final sale ask for a 500 deposit u gotta subtract the deposit from the cheaper price).if they dont reduce price than u can take ur business to the other dealer, but u will lose your deposit.

Be sure to get any "locked" conditions in writing before ordering. The salesman may either not know or just be trying to get the sale. The christmas credit langauage does say " must take delivery before 1/03/11" ) which is not the same as ordering.
Maybe they know the credit will be extended, but then again it pays to be sure. Get it in writing. |
