Dealers Answer to the 209 Wheel In Lieu of The 210's. Is This True or BS
I had posted below with my Post "What To Do".
Here is the dealers answer. Does anyone know if this is true or BS. If BS give me some ammo. Dealers and salesmen are like lawyers and belong in the same class. Thanks. Answer: "I just was able to pull up all information on the vehicle and the wheel style is a 209. The 210 wheel style is not in production for any of the 6 cylinder, and is only available on the V8. The style difference between the two is not very much, only at the edges of each point of the star." |

2011, no reason to believe they would be any different than a 2012 though. I bought the car July 6 2012 with 500 miles on it, so the wheels and tires are virtually new. The dealer actually just put 4 brand new RFTs on them when I bought the car.
If I can find a decent deal on some 20s and you can give me a decent price, maybe it would work for you. The tires alone are worth 2000.

Oh, I thought they were wheels you had taken off for better ones. Do not want the tires as my X5 is on it's way from the factory as we speak.
Thanks anyway as this will not work for either of us. I'll keep what I got as I only keep my cars 3 years. |

I own a 2010 X5 and it came with 210.
Take a look at this site: http://www.bmwvin.com If you look at the optionn list, last entry at the bottom: Code Description (interface) Description (EPC) S1CAA SELEKTION COP RELEVANTER FAHRZEUGE Dummy-SALAPA S245A LENKSAEULENVERSTELLUNG ELEKTRISCH Steering wheel column adjustment, electr. S248A LENKRADHEIZUNG Steering wheel heater S2RXA LM RAEDER STERNSPEICHE 210 BMW LA wheel, star spoke 210 I've checked several BMW VIN site, and they all list my wheels as 210. Just checked at BMWUSA.com and BMW.CA. It seems like the canadian version comes with 210, and the US version with 209. Hopes that clears things up !
