Exclamation Sojitz Corp. trying to buy out all the BMW dealers in the SF bay ****?

Sojitz Corp. trying to buy out all the BMW dealers in the bay area? Since last august Sojitz Corp (a japanese company) has bought BMW of weatherford, Concord and Sonnen BMW (renamed BMW of San Rafael) accoriding to my service driver one of the first things they did was raise the price of all the parts at all 3 locations, "forcing" customers to pay more

I think people need to explain what they mean by bay area. There's other bay areas around the USA. Better to say "San Francisco bay area". It's asinine to assume someone knows what the bay area is if they don't live in SF area.

I don't really mind... most of those dealers have crazy marked up prices and bad service.

I usually go to Peter Pan BMW for Service and Fremont BMW has decent prices on cars.

That's disappointing, I really liked Concord BMW. Still like their Collision Center though, they do great work.

I guess SF Bay Area is better but I don't think there are any other well known places in the US referred to as the Bay Area. Maybe Tampa?

South Bay (Los Angeles)
Consists of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, Carson, Lomita, Gardena etc etc.

But when you say Bay Area, most do think of San Francisco.

I buy all of my parts online, better service and better prices and they come to my door. I was "forced" to go to an Audi dealership a couple of weeks ago to purchase the license plate bracket and frame for my wife's A7, what a poor experience. It's strange, I've always found the staff working the parts counter for any brand of vehicle to be the worst type of individual to place in direct contact with the customer, it's worse than the DMV! My concern with a buyout of the nature that the OP describes is the impact on the consumer with respect to pricing on vehicles. Fortunately, in the Bay Area, you still have some choices to purchase from independent BMW dealers.
