X5 where is OBD???

Does anyone have knowledge of an X5...My friend has a warning on his dash saying self-leveler inactive..do not go beyond 35 mph...What is wrong with his car....Another thing can this error be erased with the c-reader, and if so where is the damn thing located on a X5....MY2002

Drivers side under neath the knee bolster next to hood release.

Most likely something electronic has failed on the rear self leveling system. Either the hydraulic system itself failed or some sort of power failure to the self leveling system.

The C-Reader will not read faults for the self leveling system. He needs to go to the dealer or an independent shop that can read self leveling control modules. C-Readers can only read faults from the Engine ECU.
