delete rear seat not lock warning

I've done a 3rd row delete and all went fine except for the rear seat not locked error. I'm sure there is a parameter in ncs expert to disable it but I can't seem to find it.

I haven't removed $4UB from my VO since I didn't think that would do the trick, I figured it's some parameter in some module I just don't know which one.

Can anybody point me in the right direction to disable this check?

Any chance you'll be doing a write-up on this? I would like to remove my 3rd row as well.

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I'm experiencing the same issue (3rd row delete) and can't figure out how to clear the annoying dash warning.

Sorry, I just saw this. I don't really have a write-up on this. There is a lot of parts you need though.

Just from memory:

obviously the rear seat and seat base
C & D pillars (they're different)
rear carpet
different trunk cover and all the misc parts under the rear cover. Plus you need all the trunk side covers
rear seat base and seat belts

Basically, everything from the rear seat back is different. You're better off finding a crashed x5 and swap everything as I did.

The lock warning is just a simple switch, if you bridge the two wires together it will trick the system into thinking the seat is locked. So I literally just connected the two wires together that go to the seat lock switch which fooled the car into thinking the seat was down. Haven't had a problem since!

Anyway you can expand on this? Which two wires did you bridge together?
