WeissLicht turn signals etc.

I just got WeissLicht turn signals from bimmian (amber) in the mail yesterday and went to install them, I have to say they are very bright, probably twice as stock bulbs. No errors (for the price), very easy DIY.
Also replaced my scratched iController and put new //M glass on gear selector to match //M wheel.

Thanks for looking.

I am just waiting for LED switchbacks, like in this video (skip to 1:25). Except for all the extra wiring the guys in video had to do.

Just installed the brake light bulbs today. They're awesome. I shot a video on my iPhone (.MOV file), but am unable to upload it here. I'm open to suggestions...

Are the switchbacks available for the E70 yet? i tried ordering them from bimmian a few months ago and they sent me the wrong kind...i called up customer service and was told they weren't available for the E70 also does the white light stay on all the time like the drl's?

Doesn't seem like they are available for our PY24W bulb (not just E70). They may never be available, searched all over. From what I have seen, switchback option is only available for bulbs with 2 burning filaments, such as 3157

PY24W's have 1 filament

Been wanting to add this to my X5 for a long time but I always thought you had to buy the entire shifter for it. If I understood correctly you just bought the replacement piece with P R N D M/S and the M logo and just swapped it out? If you have a source that'd be great!

You can find the part number on realoem. Once you have the part number, any BMW dealer can order it. You can even find them on eBay from time to time.

Thanks for the info

61319204479 is the part number but obviously I'm only looking for the plate with the ///M logo. Don't suppose anyone has a source for it individually

I got mine off eBay the seller's name (motorstoys) they located in China but shipping was pretty quick. To install this piece there is no need to disassemble the unit, just need to take old glass out and replace it with new one. The new one is just stick on and it doesn't have small plastic hooks on the side (you can see those on the picture above).
I hope this helps, let me know if u need more info.

You can buy the OE BMW one, it just comes with two extra bits. BMW doesn't just sell the screen. Their thinking is if you need that replaced, you probably need to cover as well. Not like that two extra pieces of plastic would cost all that much extra.

Bringing back from the Dead. How has the little piece held up??? Are you happy with how it looks.

I can buy the entire set from a bmw dealer for $90 but I don't want to drop that kind of money on a piece of glass.

Yes, lights held up nicely, no issues to speak of at all. It's funny u replied to my old tread today as I traded in my 11 X5 and got 13 X5M in Monte Carlo Blue today!
Good luck with u mods, as for me, new mods will begin...
