Black Piano trims

Anyone have a clue where I can buy Black Piano trim pieces?
I found this pic from Google images and from a forsale post

I had the ugly brown wood trim in my X and had it dipped in a water solution machine and now its carbon fiber...best of all I got to keep my original trim and didn't have to deal with aftermarket pieces that don't fit

I'm going to warn you, it's not going to be cheap. It's from an X5M's accessory options, here you go:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...33&hg=51&fg=45

You'll see there are multiple pieces for the full Piano Black interior trim. Get each part number and price it out here:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ight=OEM+parts

For instance, the largest piece: 51459211010 it costs about $200 alone.
http://www.ecstuning.com/ES1877062/

The entire Piano Black interior will cost you around $1000 or so. If you're too lazy to get the numbers and price it out yourself, then you can call it in to the dealership, give them your credit card number, bend over, and take their pricing.

Either have it refinished or try and see what a salvage yard wants for all of the pieces. If you go with the replace route, you can always recoup some of the cost by selling your current trim.

I think you'd have an extremely hard time finding an LCI E70 in a salvage yard.

Yeah, that's a snipe hunt right there, a X5M with Piano Black Individual trim that has been unmolested or undamaged sitting in a salvage yard across town...

I've got the Piano Black trim and like it. I almost went with a wood color but by sales advisor highly recommended the Black piano trim. I'm glad I listened.

They are out there, just so you know. In fact, there was a 2012 X5 and a 2011 X5M. Not hard at all. All it takes is good accident for them to make their way to a salvage yard. That was as of about a month ago.

I have the black piano trim, and I'd be willing to sell it, just need to land my hands on a set of carbon leather trim.

Maybe you should send the OP a message and see what he is willing to pay. Then you could decide if if you want spend the money on the carbon leather. Having someone willing to buy your current trim helps offset the cost.

I was out on a call the other day to a junkyard fire and spotted a 2013 X5 that was totaled but the front half of the truck was still in good shape...I was able to speak with the junkyard manager about buying the LED headlights and he quoted me $250 each! that's a no brainer I'm going to buy them next week...if you want I'll check out the interior and see what the trim looks like

Great question, but from reading I think it's a really just a front clip (2wheels). Cattivo is member of the year on that headlight find.. Congrats

I called the manager of the junkyard to confirm the price of the LED's(no wire harness unfortunately) and to make sure they were removed before I got there and was told the price was in fact $500!!! this guy obviously had no idea what he just sold me...he also threw in the rear shade and cargo net for an extra $125...this was a 2013 X5 35i AW with Cinnamon interior...the trim I'm not sure what the exact name for the color is but its that really light brown wood...the plastic wood trim had cracks along with some dried up blood on the driver and rear drivers side doors from the accident...the interior was already removed and was told it was pending sale...from looking at the center console buttons it had the active seats and camera package...the wheels were style 214 (plasti dipped black) both rear wheels were destroyed and the front driver side wheel was badly scratched...I was told the drivetrain is working and for sale but he didn't have a price yet...seems like every air bag was deployed as well...besides the engine I didn't really see too many things that were salvageable...I left my phone in the car so I was unable to take any pics
