XHP Now supports the 50i!!!!!

Just checked their website and noticed support for the ZF8HP70 transmission in the 50i is now up! Been waiting for this one for some time!

Will run approx 350 dollars total for the license and map packs but should be worth it for the torque limiter removal alone.

I sure will, just loaded it up on my phone and tested the connection with my existing Dcan cable and connected ok (they have the Thor wireless OB2 listed as the one to use on the E70 but the one I have has never been to stable IMHO

I will be testing it tonight and will post up my initial impressions. I will use my draggy and JB4 to record how it affects 0-60 and shift times

Wish they did a dyno comparison for it.

I know the stock and tuned maps ride the TCU torque limits so you should get a bit of power from upping that number.

Interesting, would be hard to overrrev the original N63 that I have though, it falls on its face past 5500 with the three full round trips the air intake takes around the engine compartment. I actually dropped all the stock shift points in every mode to 5500 or less in XHP, no sense having it higher and honestly even when I install my custom intake, the most I will go is 6k, I am pushing it as it is with nearly 160k miles on it.

So far I have loaded up the stage 2 tune...still waiting for the adaptations to finalize before I make a review on it. I did notice an immediate boost in acceleration with the torque limiters removed.
