I have been searching for an F15, however, I love the body style of the e70 but, the tech of the F15. I found a nicely optioned 2012 E70, with 59K miles and the options listed below. It's a 1 owner, enthusiast owned with service records.

Priced around $17K. For the e70 aficionados, would this be a good buy?

Pricing a car especially on the forums is very tricky. We the enthusiasts, we want to buy our cars as cheap as possible. All I can say is, buying a low mileage vehicle with service records and from the original owner, is definitely worth few dollars more.

Get the vehicle checked out and if it's fine, go for it.

I would test drive one with the adaptive drive option and then test drive this one and see if the difference is deal breaker or not for you. It completely transforms how these 5300lb tanks handle. Other then that, it looks like a nicely optioned X5 and the low mileage makes me jealous (just hit 159,000 miles on my 2012!)

After you've buy one, upgrade it's screen to one of the 10 inch android units, this simple change really updates the interior and tech.

Appreciate all the input. It appears to be in great condition and well taken cared of, but will definitely get it looked over by someone more competent than myself. I wrench quite a bit up to the N54, but obviously there may be things spotted by a certified tech that I may miss.

I got an AvinUSA unit a few years back and love it, its integration with the factory controls/screens plus touchscreen and not to mention all of the android functionality is incredible. The latest version is out now and is on sale too.

This looks like the same specs as our E70, plus it has the Tech Package (HUD, cameras, etc). Just beware that a replacement windshield will cost a lot more.
Also, check to see if the rear quarters have been "sandblasted" or protected. It's only cosmetic, but could be a negotiating point.
