Diy Grill Installation 2012 X5M

I ordered a set of OEM BLACK GLOSS GRILL from the dealer for my new 2012 BMW X5M, I'm planning on installing them myself, how difficult of job is this? Can anyone share any technics to get this job done with great success?
Thank you.

Its not hard at all, just remember too much force on any of the tabs isn't a good idea ... I pressed the three on the bottom with my thumb then the side one and pop is out little bit, hold it there and thumb the other side one and pull it out, the top ones click out as u gently pull out

Agreed with 007...I just replaced the chrome kidney grills in my '12 X5M with black matte
and it was as easy as described.

Easy job. I have the OEM BMW black grilles and one of mine is actually becoming a bit loose. I need to keep and eye on it so it doesn't fall out.

Mine were "loose" too ...!

Turns out that various tabs like to break. They actually become brittle.

The grille consists of 3 parts: chrome part, grey part and rubber black part. Examine each part carefully and you may find that some of the tabs are broken.
