Roundel Removal on Hood
Was wondering if anybody has removed the roundel on their front hood and if so how you did that and how the new one goes on? I have the overlays on the rest of the car but they peel off too often on the front so I bought a replacement.

Easiest way for any BMW roundel is replacement is to use those plastic straps you see on shipping boxes e.g. Amazon. They are flat and won't scratch the paint, slide it under, then pull up.

It literally has to pulled up so how ever you can do it with out scratching the paint. It has tabs at 3&9 o'clock, I used a small flat head screw driver and a cloth and worked each side a little at a time.

no glue or tape. the two tabs do have a small grommet but that's about it. if you buy from a proper parts place the two grommets should be included with the roundel. if not local dealer should have them for a buck or two. 51141807495

If you google search "removing BMW roundel" you can see a video of exactly how to do it. I believe it is a Bav Auto video
