Weisslicht H8 LED Halo upgrade

I bought the weisslicht version 4 H8 LED Halo upgrade for my pre-LCI E70.
I thought I would share some ideas here for anybody considering this mod.

I kept changing my mind between LUX and weisslicht for a while, then I thought I will go with the weisslicht due to price difference.
Bought it from bimmian for 149 USD, shipping was really fast and delivered ahead of time.

the install is easy and quite straight because the E70s got easy access to the H8 bulbs. took me 15 minutes to install in both headlights, would have taken 5 minutes if there was more space or if I had smaller hands, I couldnt finish it without some scratches on my hands of course.

Brightness is fine for me, although not very nice during daylight, it is very good at dusk and night time. the outer ring is much less bright. but it is fine for me ,, as I expected.

No errors at all appeared on I drive. Well, so far.

The light will be dimmed with headlights on.

Not the beautiful bright light of LCI E70, but for me I hated the dull yellow rings especially with the Xenon on.

below the pics.

Just changing a headlight bulb. All you need is your hands.

no tools needed at all. the task is simple, once you open the cover of the bulb. you will see the H8 bulb. then replace it with theLED ones. E90 owners need to go a long way to get to their bulbs.

Lucky you had the discount.
