Tracking your vehicle on order....

Does any one know how accurate the tracking system is on BMWUSA.com??? My sales agent told me that my car should be build in week 41 and its now week 42 and it still says "On Order" and nothing else!!! I have been supper busy during the day these last few days so I haven't been able to call my dealer to see if they have any more info.

Just got My X6M last night after a delay from the shipping company..

I had build week 41 and I went online every day to BMWNA and also
called the phone service to track my vehicle. (scroll down in this link)

I found that the web site was really far behind while the phone service was almost dead on (i would have an update of the previous day)

I have found both the website and phone access line to be way behind. Called the phone line today, and it said that vehicle was being scheduled for production, but not production date was yet scheduled. Nuts. So I called my dealer, and he told me that my 2010 X6 5.0 is already in production (as of late last week), and should be finished by end of this week. So much for BMW's automatic tracking systems. Also, the current "build" website for the X6 is still on the 2009 model year specs. Lots of things have changed in packages and options, including pricing. X6M is up to date. When I called customer service at BMWUSA, the agent was clueless, and had absolutely no idea that there were any changes to the 2010 model. Sad when the customer knows more than the manufacturer's customer service personnel.
