Chateau leather on Aluminum trim

This one is for all the people wondering what chateau leather would look like on aluminum trim

The pics are not much of high quality but the colors are almost exact
Will try to take some more photos soon if any one is interested

I actually think that is probably the best looking interior combination if you choose Aluminum trim. I would have chosen that combo if the red came in the Nappa Leather. Very nice!

I think nappa leather is an option right now ... not so sure about that

I probably would have gone for the flywheel trim myself but it was not an option for me since i picked up the car off the dealer's lot

The first set of pics show the normal sport seats.

I guess the more clearer pics in the last set show comfort seats?

In either case, the second set of pics clearly show a leather quality issue. The color looks fine, but the stitching quality and thigh support do not look good.

Is this just a the photo? If my leather seats looked liked that I would not accept the car. They look reupholstered by an amature.

Compare the stitch work and taughtness in the first pics to the last. I have seen comfort seats in person and don't recall them looking like that. the stitch work does not even match the rear seats.

Rant over. Sorry.

well yes my seats in the first set are indeed the normal sport seats and the second set shows the optional comfort seats

I didn't clearly understand what photos you want us to compare to each other but the thing you pointed out about the rear seat not matching the front, well the rear seats match the standard sport seat stitch on both the comfort and the sports no matter what you chose the rear seat stays the same.

And yes I to noticed the thigh support area not being well made as in the 7er but i guess x6 are all made the same

will try to get better photos of my seats once I'm back home next month to clear things up and to see if the sport seats have the same problem with the thigh support

I don't really get it with the stitches, but off course there might be some issues that the leather had badly made stitches or so. Theare are not a picture of my car, but from the dealer, actually their first X6 that they had. IMO the best combination is Oyster and Flywheel, that just looks
