It would be interesting to note also how many times its been back to the dealer. Mine is 245xx miles and has been there at least 6 times and is going back again next week

My 6cyl has 17k and has been in 3 times for pulling in front end (finally fixed by dropping left front air preasure 5lbs and raising right front 5 lbs) Got a new computer after that malfunctioned, and now is on 3'd visit for check engine light (reduce power) coming on. Always happens on long trips. Clears after car restarts and only happens when it's very hot out. Dealer for second time cannot find the cause and is giving it back to me "as is" Opened a Puma case-woop-de-do! Glad my wife's 335 has been problem free or so-long BMW. Cheap

Got it on August 1st 2008 Odo:14,000 Kms (8750 miles ) 1 time at the dealer for oil change Going back for oil this Monday |

Hi Cheap:
see my thread about engine malfunction reduced power. I had that several times during the summer heat, sounds like your. Took it in for repair mid sept. Had the vacuum hoses and waste gate actuators replaced and just had the same fault again two days ago! |
