Got my LEDs Fixed
I got my LEDs fixed today on my Alpine White X6.
hmmmm they are okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...the color is nice and clear...but the brigthness is too much..dunno...didnt like it much..though my friends said its very nice..i felt it was so bright..so someone suggested covering it with some film or slightly shaded insulator just to reduce to emission of the lights little bit...just wanted to share this with you.. |

The color is very nice..it looks original..unlike those cheap ones..the only thing is that it's TOO bright..maybe in the pic it looks OK..but in reality it's bright...trying to find a way to reduce brightness by 20 to 30% !! |

I think that looks really nice. As long as it isn't distracting to the people behind you, no problem . Also, the white paint is more reflective.
I would seriously consider placing those on my (On order) Black Sapphire X6. What manufacturer are the LEDs from? I'd like to look them up as well. How cool would it be to have the BMW emblem on the trunk lit up as well? |

Ok I have to ask why you would want to have brighter lights on the license plate. I usually do everything I can ( legally of course ) to obscure the plate from speed cameras.

No speed cameras here in PA just yet. The brighter lights may make it more difficult to get a clear shot because of the high contrast created. It could appear as a flash of light to the camera. Of course, I may be wrong in my thinking and maybe the light has to be shining out to have the effect I'm thinking of.
