Greetings From Germany

Hello,

I am the new guy on this forum now, LOL. I just bought a 2008 X5 50i and will receive it on Friday. I am originally from the M5Board as KreativeM5, and I recognize the name Sharpie from the M5Board.

I sold my M5 because my family and I are headed back to the States in March, most likely Southern California and the M5 is just impractical in that type of environment. I am used to "No Restriction Zones" aka No Speed Limit and a few areas that make driving in Germany absolutely the best.

I was bouncing between the X5 and the X6, with aggressive styling, power, handling, and smaller niche of X6 owners, I decided the X6 was best for me.

I will post some pictures up of the new ride this weekend but figured I would introduce myself to the forum. For now here is a memory shot of my previous Beast and short vid.

I am sure I will be asking the usual cheesy questions until I get to know more about the X6, so I have been reading a lot of the forum threads and searching Youtube videos.

If you're coming back to the states after being in the "free zone" (I had a few assignments in Frankfurt,Munich and Oberammergau) it would be worth it to get some counter measures for the X6. It can be a ticket magnet especially in SoCal (grew up there). So escort or v1 (either are good both have cult followings) and decent laser shifters like LI or blinder.
