2011 X5M - Original Rod Bearings - 200k Miles

Hello! I recently purchased a 2011 X5M with ~200k miles. Shockingly, it's still running on the original rod bearings and, despite a myriad of coolant and oil leaks, the motor has no audible indication of rod knock.

The car needs quite the refresh and, before investing a bunch of money, I'll be replacing the rod bearings and inspecting for any indication of catastrophic issues lurking around the corner.

Can anyone advise on what indications of impending doom I should look for while I'm changing the rod bearings?

Thanks!
-Matt
