I'm only stating what my Dinan rep told me. They have a new kit out and it's only for the front I believe.

Cheap at 500-600.

Call Dinan and ask.

Wow, now that I have gotten into watches more I don't check Bimmer-related car sites as often...I'm missing out on threads/pics like these! AMAZING job, OP & others!

Let me know what you guys think.

Rear diffuser is custom painted space grey, side moldings and turn signals. As is the X5M emblem. The surround is space grey and the emblem itself is gloss black.

Great work by IND
Looks very nice, would love to see additional pics!

Does anyone know if the Dinan springs can be installed on a diesel? If so, does it give the same/similar drop?

Thought i should share this.

I called dinan asking the difference with the older kit compare to the revised kit and was given this as clarification.

With the old kit and it's shock top mounts, dinan has received a few complaints regarding the mounts squeaking, so for the revision they got rid of them. The revised kit offers the same springs and rear adjustment links but with new bump stops for the front and rear. This explains the reduction in price as the bump stops aren't as expensive as the mounts. I was also assured by the sales rep at dinan that the ride quality will not change with the new kit.

I have Dinan suspension on mine. The car is insane. I have pulled as high as 1.11G in it. Defies all laws of physics.

The old one. I'm fine with it. Slightly noisy under quick bumps due to the solid mounts. I'm used to race cars so I'm not bothered by it at all. Almost unnoticeable. The beginning of this video is boring but it gets much better.

Haha. I've taken that ramp many times a day for 20 years. It's my test drive route.

This X5M modified in any way? I'm still amazed with how much grip and agility this SUV has for its weight.

Minus a coilover kit this DIBAN set up has been a great investment

I see a great looking X5M and a very nice E30 M3 possibly! Also see palm trees, which makes me a little jealous. Do you live in SC?

Love it down there. Went to kiawah in October to play some golf. Carolina's is where I plan on retiring.

Went to school in NC. But stupidly came back to Boston after school! Many moons ago, but still fantasize about living down there!

Lets see some more of that E30

Looks great. Doubtful but did you notice any difference in on center feel? One of the only things that bugs me about these M's is the amount of play on center...requires at least a few degrees of turn before the steering weights up. I'm coming from a Cayenne Turbo which was almost darty with even the slightest input.
