I say this b/c the new config adds $1650 worth of features and only omits $300 (side-view camera) from my earlier config. So they way I see it, I'm ahead $1,270. Now I won't mind paying $175 for the snap-in adapter for iPhone integration

I've attached my build, as well as the 04/11 SOP. Cheers!

Oaktown, who was your salesman? Was he/she nice? You definitely got a great deal! $1000 over invoice is terrific

As of 4/4 at 7:50am Eastern, bmwusa.com apparently still does not reflect these changes on its Build Your Own.....

I just priced out the same X5 as the above build sheet, but for a Canadian one and it came in at $71,450. Yuck. What a difference we have to pay up in Canada compared to the US.

Does anyone know if we can put in an order for a 2012 35D? What's the average build time? 4 weeks? 8 weeks?

thx

My dealer told me that the 2012 diesels are coming out in the fall. The average build time is between 4-6 weeks for the US market, since they are built in South Carolina, but I have read on the forums that some people have taken delivery as soon as 3weeks from order. I don't know how that would differ for Canada. Hope this helps.
