My 2011 M3 has the digital speed read out on the dash. I had to have the dealer program the mirrors to fold up/down with comfort access - they did it for free

I guess all M models have the digital speedometer.

The remote mirrors folding can be coded by a dealership, but in most cases you will find it difficult to get this done your dealership.

Things liks the remote tailgate opening/closing or the DVD in motion cannot be coded by a dealer.

I spoke with Patrys today via email and sent him a deposit for the cable needed to do the coding. He said it should take somewhere around 2 weeks or so to receive the cable. Ill leave an update once everything is done.

Here is what is being done...

-Enable remote folding mirrors and windows/sunroof opening/closing
-Enable digital speedometer in the instrument cluster
-Enable remote trunk opening/closing
-Automatic door unlocking after shutting off engine

..I didn't get the "enable euro front blinkers" because I have my side markers/reflectors painted...or am I not understanding here? What actually happens when you have this enabled?

Very cool

Is there a full list of things that can be done this way?

Does the Enable remote trunk opening/closing mean you can close the power lift gate with the key fob?

Thanks, Sharpie12.

So, how do all the remote functions work with one key fob (1-4, 9)? Different button combinations?

Given that Patrys is busy these days, anyone know who else could do some of these? Anyone in the Washington, DC area?

I really don't have any idea I'll be doing my coding as soon as I receive the cable that he's supposed to send to me. I just copied/pasted from what he told me through email. You'd have to ask him.

Please update us as you go through the process. I am getting my x5 in 2 weeks and would love most of these mods.

TPMS tire pressure reading....

Does anyone know if the iDrive system can display the actual pressure in each tire rather than just "green" or "low tire pressure"?

Patryk did the coding on my X6 yesterday. I download and install some files on my laptop he then takes remote access of my computer and sets up everything. I then went to my car and plugged in the cable he shipped to me and he does the coding in about 10 minutes. He really knows what he's doing and everything works flawlessly. Anyone thinking about getting anything done I wouldn't have any doubts.
