2007 compared to 2011

Hello All.

Does anybody changed from 2007-08 X5 to 2011-12?
My 2007 4.8i with 20" is very stiff (with no RFT tires) and I'm thinking to change it. My choice is 2012 X5 35d or MB GL350. I know GL will be much smoother, but it's totally different animal compared to X5. How is 2011? Is suspension changed compared to 2007-08 models? Is it smoother ( with 20" wheels )?

I was cross shopping the gl450 and I ran after my test drive

It drove like a minivan, albeit a vault like minivan. honestly my in laws have that car and every time I get in it, I get sea sick

can't really say so much about the differences of the 07-11 though
