Aftermarket Blind Spot Detection

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHzhoOAUXb8 Has anyone installed an aftermarket system on their e70? My lease on my 2013 is about to end, but since I just turned 20k miles this month I'm thinking of buying. Would be nice to add something like this. Thoughts?

Not to hijack your thread, but:
AFAIK, you can't buy any E70 from the dealer until the airbag recall is performed. Do keep us posted.

I actually wouldn't mind installing smthg like this due to increased number of drivers who forget to turn on headlights at dusk (thanks to always on dash lights, I guess) and becoming invisible in dimmed mirrors.
But placement of the indicator lights in this particular installation is awful. And so is shooting video in portrait mode, BTW.

A cleaner option IMO would be installing aspherical (a.k.a. Euro) mirrors. No blind spots at all and OEM look.

Do this. I have the euro blind spot mirrors and they were worth every penny. I bought them on ebay. Maybe out of Lithuania, can't recall.
