exhaust tips removal and much longer screws for diffuser
after installing front lip yesterday I went to see how to install rear diffuser and exhaust tips, looks like the diffuser goes on top as the original piece is part of rear bumper, now after removing 2 original screws I realize that I will need 3 times longer screws to install it and possibly some 3M tape on the top. I assume I can get the screws in Home Depot.
Now for tips, I looked around and can't find straight answer are the stock tips welded on or fractured on? I tried to pull them out with no success, sure enough if they welded I won't be able to do anything without going to muffler shop but I was hoping somebody have an answer for me! |

just went to muffler shop, the original tips needs to be cutoff. going back in an hour to see what can be done to install my Akrapovic tips, I assume they will need to add something to bring tips little bit out. Will update once complete.

That's completely up to you. I just wanted to give you a heads up that if you do, it's a good idea to plug the vent hoses. I used to have a vacuum leak that gave me the "engine malfunction, reduced power" warning after doing the exhaust, until I plugged them up.
