WeissLicht Spektrum LED Back up bulb question-X5 (M)

Just ordered these LED from Bimmian to see if reverse light visibility is better.

Pair of T15 Style Spektrum Bulbs (with resistor pack)

Didn't see until they arrived, resistor pack included. Directions say to add resistor to +/- factory wiring for install. Don't really want to do this and after talking to bimmian rep, he said it's a crap shoot if you do or don't get error code from LED install without resistors.

Anybody installed these back up LEDs on their X5 successfully without resistors?

Yes - installed them a few months back without the resistors, no codes thrown. Did have to disable voltage monitoring to keep them from randomly flickering though.

Thanks. Is that the Intelligent battery sensor or in tail light housing?

Just code out the bulb checks with the Carly (bmwhat) app and you will be good to go.
