Cool 0-60 dash in the X635D

We managed a 0-60 time of 6.39 Secs with 500 miles on the clock at snetterton race track, this was with the P-Tronic box fitted.
It feels quicker now though, I have done 700 miles now, it will be quicker after 2K miles, the economy has gone from 30.7 MPG too 32.8 MPG motorway driving.

The is in the UK so it is Imperial gallons.

Minus 20%.

So 24-25MPG highway. The gas powered 3.5 gets 22-24 MPG highway.

I don't know ,I did not test it without the unit, it takes about 90 miles to adjust to the unit being in line with the ECU/Fuel injection set-up, so only the later figures sorry.

My mates petrol X6 gives 22/24 MPG UK Gallons. The calculation you should have used is 32MPG Divided by 1.2 = one US gallon, therefore,
32.8 / 1.2= 27.33 MPG and the car has only covered 700 miles.

P-Tronic

I m finally getting my white 35d this friday.
It ll come with 22" wheels and H&R sport springs.
I also have a P-Tronic box ready... ordered it last month...
I ordered my car in june... it has been a long wait...

Can you really feel the difference with the P-Tronic and what re the fuel economy numbers in Km/l... do you know?!?

They (P-Tronic) say that it should go down about 15%... tahnk you!!!

The P-Tronic Box will take about 90/100 miles to really start to work, the ECU has to adapt to it, fuel economy will get better with miles, mine gives 29/30 MPG around short local runs, on the motorways and longer runs (20 mile+) it gives 32.8 MPG at the moment, I have covered 820 miles so far, I expect the economy to improve after 1200+ miles.
The performance is much better using the box. you will only see by how much when you take the box back off.

M3 CS, please post some pictures when you get your car. Also, let us know how the ride is on the 22" wheels. I assume you are getting regular and not run-flat tires on the 22" wheels?
What size tires are they (front and back)?

Cool. Let us know how the ride is.

I would think that with 30 and 25 on 22" with sport springs (I assume they are shorter and stiffer than the standard springs), the ride would be rather harsh?!?

Should look nice though!
