Not at all. Actually, I've heard they are very well received as the front end of the vehicle is preserved and doesn't become rock chipped. I've seen several returned with clear bra installed and they have never had an issue.

J,
Looks great. Picked up my leased AW 30i a month ago and considering clear bra. Where did you have yours done (as you can see, I'm a couple hours away but make the trip as needed)? What parts of the vehicle have the 3M clear? How much did you pay? How do you feel about it 3 month in? T.I.A.

i've had mine on my 911 turbo for 2 years. mine is Xpel, but basically the same stuff as 3M. i have it basically on the entire car from the front all the way to just in front of the rear wheels (front bumper, headlights, entire hood, entire front fenders, both doors, A-pillar, both rocker panels), and i love it. i've tracked the car several times and have a few scuffs from hitting pieces of other dude's tires/debris at >100mph and while you can see the scuff on the film, you can tell the film is still intact, and it's a nice feeling knowing that the paint is still perfect underneath.
