Garage List
"M MODE"

Once you go "M", it's hard to go back to normal driving. Always in M unless taking a long trip. I also drive my M5 in M Mode too. I guess it's a "M Thang", and other would not know what we're talking about until you have been "M".

Just completed a +1000mi road trip to SoCal all in M mode. I ended up with an average of 13.3 MPG! Haha

I drove from Buffalo, NY to Providence, RI this weekend during the snow storm. I had M mode on but in the efficient setting and got 16.5 MPG for the trip. I was cruising between 75-82 the whole way except for a few pokes in M power mode. I was flashed back to stock for the ride mainly because Ive had the truck in and out of the shop for a few different services. Im wondering if I would have done better or worse with the tune on.

What's this "efficient setting" you speak of??? I think my MPG was worse mainly because I averaged 90MPH almost the entire way...with several pokes in the M mode! Haha

When you go into your M drive settings you can pick between power or efficient mode and still be in M mode. When you look at your cluster you see for example "D6 Power" when your in M/power mode. That power goes away when in Efficient mode. Browse through it today when you get a chance. if you cant find it I cant take some videos or pics for you.

I have a feeling your MPGs might have been a tad bit low from average 90mph as well LOL CRUISNG!
