When the floor collapsed on part of our 153 year old house from too many books in a heavy bookcase, I was on my way to buy some gasoline to burn it to the ground. But then I thought, hmmm it might be kind of nice to have a table downstairs on 20" of heated concrete and marble for when we cook out in the winter. It always works out.

I can't wait to see the pictures of your completed project! It's looking great.

I'd also like to point out that to me, there is big difference between: Remodel and Renovation.

Thanks and the difference is Remodel is a lot more fun! I still cant' wait to see yours when it's all done.

You're right... and also Silence of the Lambs. We only called our dog "Precious" during the entire renovation. He was pretty worried someone was going to make somebody hurt the dog

Awaiting a large special piece of artwork. But all furniture is in and my BAR is complete with the large 6ftx4ft mirror I hung today. Just in time for our Super Bowl 50 party.
