Stay with black or change to gunmetal / machine ?

Finally got my X6 5.0 twin turbo. Very exciting change from 3.0L X5. Thinking about changing 20" black wheels to a 20" gunmetal / machine face BMW M style wheels. What are your thoughts. Keep black or change to M style?

Congrats on your new purchase! I'm sure its quite a bit quicker then the 3L x5. Personally I'm a fan of the graphite/ gunmetal. I have that color wheels on my black m5 and it looks great.

Thank you, Connor. Yes, it is much faster than the 3.0 X5. I used to be exited to drive the X5, every time I needed to go somewhere, now with this beast it is even more exciting to drive. Every time it's an adventure. Behind the wheel you feel like you own the road

As for the wheels, I have had some liking the black and some graphite/gunmetal. I am still kind of in between, undecided. Just in case, I have both sets. Eventually will need to decide which one to keep and which one to sell

Congrats man! Without a doubt, keep the gun metal.

The blacked out look has been played too long. Car companies like Jeep are starting to offer Special Ops and Blacked out packages. It's gone mainstream now...

I had the graph/gunmetal and had them powder coated to semi-gloss black and still like them. But the original look was still very nice. I just wanted something a little different at the time. Maybe you should go with the lighter wheels for a cool contrast.

I also like the graph/gunmetal look, since the car came with black wheels, I was kind of skeptical about changing them out. Now I am leaning more towards changing them

I did the oposite, switched frm M style to 214's and painted them in satin black (powder coat), so my advise is obvious, stay black!
