Tires balanced

FYI,

I just had all four tires balanced at 20k miles. Over the past few months I noticed a slight WHOOMP WHOOMP WHOOMP at speeds greater than 30MPH.

Front tires were off 1/2 to 3/4 ounce, rears were both off 3 ounces.

Although I did not detect vibration the noise was evident.

I have about 5-10k miles tread life left so I wanted to take care of this issue.

Just an FYI to those with 20k miles on your X6. This issue creeps up slowly and can contribute to road noise. Very easy for large tires to go out of balance as the tread wears down.

Thanks for the info as I just put new tires on at 22k, will listen for this as time goes on.
I know that's short for tires but it's a 50i and I did some hard driving early on to see what it could do and I know you don't get very long life with RFs.
