New iDrive Info/Color Recs?

He is the second to report inclusion into of the new system into the X5 and X6 in March/09. Question: anyone think it's worthwhile to wait for the new system? My car is old, and has no technology in it, so any system for me is an upgrade.

Also, have been waiting for my car for like 2 mo. - still no production allotted. Originally chose VR for exterior, but have been liking black and titanium silver a lot recently. Any recs? Interior for sure is oyster with bamboo (black on white looks soooo good). Thanks!

As with any new system there will be things to love and hate. I never bought a BMW because of the Nav system and I still believe the BMW Nav will continue to be the lowest rated Nav on the market.
