Not very clear as to what you are asking, but yes, you will need to replace your FRM3 module to the latest version as well as add an additional wiring harness to your existing headlight harness (they will run in parallel).

I have Googled this question myself and have yet to find a definitive answer. The DOT allows a maximum of 6000k. I believe that factory Xenons are 4300k, yet the LEDs are quite a bit less yellow when broadcasting against a white wall.

My guess would be 6000k?

Could be onto something there. I've seen countless BMW 4 Series with LEDs and those certainly have a much greater blue look to them.

Just got my FRM3 and wiring harness from http://e-acca.com/ Took 14 days to get it. They come recommended from me if anyones looking for a speedy service.

Just waiting for my LED head lights to arrive but in the meantime i'm going to run the harness so its ready for final connections etc..

That is a very good idea. Running harness inside (may be a good idea to run it behind your CIC unit - center console), making necessary connections inside the fuse box (right hand side), making necessary connections to the FRM3 module (left hand side) may take one-day's work if you are doing this for the first time.

I think your headlights are shaped differently: they are more rounded at the fender.
The only LEDs I have seen are for the E70/E71 X6, X6M and X5M only.... these headlights come to a point at the fender.

Man this is great work right here. I have a quick question so is the 2013-2014 headlights (minus the 2015+) interchangeable with the 2010 x6m?

Hey, these connectors were all together in the same package with wiring harness. I did not have to get them separately, but they are required. You can also purchase them just about from any electronics store or maybe even home depot.

That is correct. 2013-2014 headlights will fit in to your 2010 X6M.

Below are the coding instructions. Nothing too complicated:

LED Lights: I just modified my VO String in NCS Expert to add option $552 and delete $522, $524 to my CAS and FRM module

Change production date to #0412

Remove $522 and $524 (AHL if you have) and add $552 to CAS & FRM and code car.
If you are not comfortable coding the whole car then just code CAS, KOMBI and FRM with expert profile.

REMOVE:
$522 - FRM//Xenon light
$524 - FRM//Adaptive Headlights

ADD:
$552 – FRM//Adaptive LED headlights with Anti-Glare High-Beam Assist, incl. variable light distribution and cornering lights

Installing new FRM module:
coding FRM module step by step:
A:
1.open NCS expert
2.File-Load profile
3.select EXPERMODE
4.press F1
5.press F3
6.select E70<for E71>
7.press BACK
8.press F3<CHOOSE ECU>
9.select NFRM
10.select FA_WRITE from CHANGE JOB
11.press F3<EXECUTE JOB>

B:
1.open NCS expert
2.File-Load profile
3.select EXPERMODE
4.press F1
5.press F3
6.select E70<for E71>
7.press BACK
8.press F3<CHOOSE ECU>
9.select NFRM
10.select SG_CODIEREN from CHANGE JOB
11.press F3<EXECUTE JOB>
