Iphone adapter

I think this is just a Mac issue. My built actually started 2 weeks early from the original estimated date. The dealer gave a piece of paper that had a bunch of dates in it. The original completion by that paper had my x6 getting finished on the 30th. I went to the dealer on Wednesday and it should be finished today.

My build started the first week of June actually. At least that is when the website said production started. Initially I was told that my production would be complete on June 10th, so I thought I would possibly be picking my truck up before I left for Germany on the 18th.

One month later, still no truck. Maybe its just me as brad has stated. No matter. I really just want it here by September, and after all my research, I couldn't help but pull the trigger early.

Still being told mid-October before I get mine now! Was "ordered" over 2 weeks ago although they want to finally confirm the options we want once they have a confirmed slot! Its definitely the longest I can remember it taking for a US made BMW.

Why so long damn, I ordered the 5.0 on July 5th and my production week is the first week in August.

I would imagine the dealership that you ordered from had an available slot while ifly's dealership did not. Which dealership did you order from? I am curious since you are in BK.

Yep, their previous slot they used on us but screwed up the order. They are still trying to barter with other dealers and BMW NA for another slot. So far no luck!

Who is your CA? Did you get the free AS? I also puchased at LifeStyle BMW, but needed to blind auction other dealers to get a good price.

Okay cool. Long thread on the possibility of getting stand alone AS for free. I never drove or tested a car with Dynamic Handling. Why did you jump on that option? I finally got my CA to add AS for free with the help of this forum.

AS= Active Steering. Looking forward to test out that option, as Doug hyped it so much..

I noticed that the sound is better through the adapter vs usb connection. I know it does not make sense, but the sound is better.

It's official Mac, you are jinxed. I just got a call from my dealer saying that the X6M I ordered will be at the dealer no later than Monday. Possibly Friday, depending on how long the truck takes. Ordered June 27.

Thanks Brad.. I have gotten so many complements on the color combo. Its funny now to think how apprehensive I was on pulling the trigger on a $80K car that I had never seen before. (smile)

I plugged my wife's Ipad in there and was able to see Facebook, Twitter options (didn't really play with it), and it seems like the iTunes interface is fine form the regular Ipod cable connection. Doug or someone else with the adapter, can you please take a picture of what the itunes interface is with the adapter. I take a picture of mine without the Adapter and with BMW Apps later tonight. My sneaky suspicion is that the Adapter is just for convenience.

BTW.. Apps for Android is so annoying. One tech told me it would be released shortly, I check the link Doug sent and it is only for UK... and incompatible with my tablet and Galaxy Nexus. Really.... where is the love for Google and Android from BMW?

I do love the fact that I can send a obscure address from my Google Maps directly to my car. Phenomenal feature. Saves potential headaches and time.

Obscure? I can't even get my NAV to find non-obscure addresses The Google Maps is a life saver (hmmm, I wonder if I can do it from my phone? I don't see why not, that might be even quicker than running back in my house and firing up Google : ) ).

For the pictures, do you want the regular interface or the special iPhone interface? You get your choice when doing music.

I want to see the special interface! Lets see if I am missing something cool. I tried to send an address from maps app on my droid device, but it did not work quickly. I plan on trying again later.
