I'm glad my comments were somewhat helpful

as for Bridgestone's somebody else will need to chime in as I don't have personal experience with that brand either

Such a stunning X5M build. Love that m performance front spoiler. I'm looking at two the same color with silver stone interior and both 2010's. Might buy one once I'm back from the states in April and one of them is still for sale.

It's March but winter is still going strong (enough already)

f85 rotors and pads showed up right in time for great weather
with couple other things (leather care kit and tire air compressor)

Looking forward to you adding the rotors. To fight inevitable corrosion, I planned to coat the F85 hubs with Boeshield T9 (invented by Boeing), I've used it for years with great results. My F85 rotor plans are still a couple months out...but with the winters you've got I thought I'd mention it. $0.02.

I've been waiting to upgrade my rotors for about 2 years, but decided to wait it out until I really need new rotors (and its about time)
as for corrosion issue, this is my daily driver, enough said...

well today I got my rear window shattered by piece of ice that came down from the tree branch on parking lot near my work.

I was able to get home with glass still in place (actually had to make additional stop so drove about 50 miles), called Insurance and they arranged appointment with glass company for Monday, obviously the rear glass window not as common as windshields. Unfortunately I will still have to pay $100 deductible to the glass company but I hope they can get it fix.

Nooo! Sorry to hear about your window...excited about those rotors though...you gonna throw on some clear/black caliper paint on the hats to prevent rusting?

You're going to like the F85 rotors....
I was planning on doing them with a rear caliper upgrade before the BBK landed in my lap.

It was max a hour per rotor @ 80 per corner. They did the break in for me before I picked it up. But I would suggest doing it so the pad doesn't cut into the rotor. If that happens you'll get microscopic grooves in the rotor and it will squeal during braking due to dust being trapped in the grooves

Thanks brother, so u paid somewhere in the neighborhood $350? I got quoted $240 at my friend's Indy shop and this is with oil change but without break in I will also check with the local mechanic I've been going to lately (he little screwed up last time I was there) so hopefully I'll get similar quote if not better!

Sure I'm planning to do a break in using the directions provided!

Thank you
