Wheels for my X5M

Just got a used 2012 X5M. First Mod (if you can call it that) was clear bra, then reflector replacements from IND. Now for my first big mod... wheels. I think I have figured out which wheel I want to put on my Sapphire Black X5M. I am leaning towards the ADV5.0dc and add the SL. So.... what do you think?

Actually that exact vehicle is what interested me in the ADV wheels. I was actually thinking of going with HRE's. The wheels you posted I believe are the Track spec wheels. I am after a bigger lip. The wheels I posted are the same pattern but with a much larger lip. Although, I LOVE THEM BOTH!!!! Still back and forth with these and the HRE's. I plan on putting my order in on which ever wheel I decide at end of January, in hopes to having them by April.

Usual build times are 6-8 weeks so April shouldn't be a problem at all. ENJOY!!

I think ADV wheels look nice but choosing between them and HRE I would pick HRE every time the quality, service and company reputation is far better with HRE. There are so many nightmare stories surronding ADV and its owner Jordan formerly of 360 forged...

Google ADV 1 wheel problems prior to buying a set.

Thanks for the advice! I did read a thread about Jordan. That is something that is in the back of my mind

I will say I like the designs and I have seen a few sets in person and they looked good but I have just heard to many horror stories about ADV1 and 6 week promises turning into +3 months and quality control issues. For $8,000-10,000 I
Wouldn't want to take the chance . I have HRE wheels on my car and the service they provide blew my mind it was the best service I have had concerning aftermarket vehicle parts.

Good to know. I am tossed between these ADV's or the HRE 940RL's.

wheels are nice but if i had 10k to spend on wheels. id pick a set that i have never seen on an x5 before... thats a lot of money to be painting by numbers. at least get them in a different finish. my 2 cents

I found this on one of the other X5 forums, it sucks they are such a sketchy company they have about 3 designs I think would look great on an X5.

Well the sent me wheels in the 4 weeks but not my wheels to add insult to injury one wheel was damaged as a result of faulty tmps installed by their vendor and they charged me another 2k to replace it, Now 11k into this and now on week 12 and I still have no wheels and they have been paid in full.
When I ordered in july they guaranteed a full refund of my 1k fee if they did not deliver in time but now they are refusing to refund my 1k. I still don't have my wheels 12 weeks in , they are giving me and the supplier different excuses why they are not done yet.
When I talk to them they admit they manufactured and shipped wheels different than I ordered in fact for a different vehicle entirely but refuse to give me the expediting fees back they told me they should if never guaranteed a 4 week delivery because it was next to possible. That statement alone tells me they had no intention of delivering on time. I don't think that is to much to ask for in fact they told me they scrapped the wheels they originally sent so I should get the 2k additional they charged me back to.

I spoke to the sales rep and when I asked to speak to jordon ( his boss)he kept ignoring my request. After asking several times he finally said he would have him call me later that day and guess what no one called.

So adv.1 this is in your court - what are you going to do?are you going to get me my wheels and refund me the money you owe? I'm sure everyone on here will be interested to see.
