Does anyone know where I can get Pirelli Scoprion Winter Tires IN STOCK for the X6 M?

Need 275/40 R20 for the fronts and 315/35 R20 for the rears. Tirerack has the fronts, but the rears are back-ordered. Anyone find the rears in stock?? Thank you.

i'm also interessed in those tyres, but would like to have any feedback on such big winter tyres.

I know there will not be as good as tyres less large in the snow, but i assume a lot better than no winter tyres at all.

My second concerns is how they will handle on the dry road. I have heard it will be not good at all, but i do not understand why larger winter tyres are less efficient on the dry than smaller tyres.

Any feedback / input ?

They were available for a few days but they are gone now..no 20" tires are available at this time. Anyone knows if 275/40/20 will fit on the rear Style 214 rims or will they be too stretched?

Tirerack rep said the 275s will fit wheels between 9 and 11 inches, and the stock rear wheels on the X6M are 11 inches wide, so they "should" work.

A standard UHP tire in a 275 section width mounted on an 11" wheel is not a great idea. A super soft compound winter tire with comparatively aggressive tread (lots of tread squirm) is REALLY not a great idea. If you could manage to live with the poor handling, you should probably only expect to get one season of wear out of them because of the too wide wheel (the tires won't wear evenly). Not to mention that you will be exposing the outer rim lip to damage because the tires will be so stretched out. Just because you "can" do this, doesn't mean you should.

An option to this would be to pick up at least a pair of replica wheels and run the same width wheel and tire all the way around. An even better option would be to pick up a set of inexpensive aftermarket wheels in a smaller diameter and run a narrower tire.

My $.02!
