Navigation "turn by turn" please help

I have read the manual and looked through the NAV options and I cannot find the option that displays turn by turn listings for the destination you have set. I know in my 06 M5 you could see what turns were coming up and you could choose to skip let say "5. Turn left on main" and then it would reroute you. But on my 2010 x6 I cannot find that in my NAV screen. Does anyone know if it even exists? If it doesn't I see this as really taking a step back because otherwise you can't see where the nav is taking you if you want to look ahead
