CEL issue...
Where to start... So I just recently got my car back from servicing with the battery issue that others have been reporting. Worked out a deal where BMW is issuing me a check for one month of my lease cause it was a complete shit show which you could follow up on that thread.
Anyways when I got my car back I reloaded my ESS tune. Issues start coming: I had a nail puncture in my back left tire and for some reason the car assumed all my tires were low whereas usually it indicates the troubled area (front left, etc). Get the patch job and all goes back to normal until I get a CEL. I run the vehicle status check and all systems appear ok. I then plug in my code reader (provided with the ESS tune) and nothing appears. Next step I take is to contact ESS. I'm told to restore to the stock file. I do this and the same CEL appears after a few hundred miles of driving (a slap the steering wheel moment!) Has anyone else run into this dreaded CEL with the same results so apparently it has no relation to the tune... I have an appointment scheduled already but wanted to get some insight if anyone's got any idea what's going on with my baby. It's yelling lemon juice law at me :/ after all the crap I'm dealing with.

Haven't had an issue like this with mine. Any noticeable issues while driving? How hard do you drive the truck?

Power seems stable and nothing really seems different. I would say I'd drive it the same as any other M driver would.

I didn't realize you had downpipes. That will kick a CEL if you removed the o2 sensors. This can easily be tuned out though.

Solved. So ESS forgot to load the downpipes when they sent me my "updated" tune.
