The Time Has Come...

Well I finally get to pick up my 2011 BMW X6 xDrive50i today at 6:30PM. I can't wait! It's been sitting at the dealer since Thursday. PDI took longer than expected. Here is what it looks like at the dealer(not detailed BTW). Oh I also already put in the clear Euro side markers + BMW valve stem caps. Only 3 more hours to go!

Great looking ride, congrats. Don't know what you have for options but that color combo is what I am thinking about as well.

BMW Canada has also finally updated the pricing to the 2011 MY.

The trim is Flywheel Black Alum. When you touch it there is a slight texture to it. As I am not the hugest fan of wood trim this is perfect. According to www.bmw.ca is was offered on 2010 as well.

Well it was raining hard yesterday so I have no pics.

I will have to give it a good clean tonight. I am lovin it. 103km down.

The flywheel looks very sharp! I wish it was available in the US ... I am going to end up going with aluminum!

Flywheel aluminum black has been available in Canada from the beginning, '08. not high gloss as carbon fiber which gets smudged easily.

I ordered the flywheel aluminum as well so good to hear your happy with it, I hope it looks as good in my car as it does in yours.

Did your car arrive close to the date that was told to you when you ordered it ? Just curious.

On April 30 they found out it was on rails and said ti would be ready May 17. I recieved the car May 18. So yeah it was pretty accurate.

...I live in Edmonton so it's been shiet weather. I want to post some sweet pics but not yet. So far I did the Clear Euro Side Marker mod. I had my whole hood and front side fenders 3M Rock Guarded. I tinted 5 windows. So the X6 is lookin pretty sexy so far! I will post pics when I clean it up and the sun decides to show it's face.

Wondering where you had the 3M work done? I will have to do the same or more Fort McMurray roads are terrible this year.
