Bent my Black 215 rim...

I hit a big pothole and when I checked the rim, it was slightly bent away from the tire. No air leak and the car drives fine. My 'wheel insurance' won't pay because it requires tire damage also (there was no tire damage).

Anyone else have this problem or suggestions? At this point I will leave it. The dealer assures me there is no driving hazard.

Well, you're dealing with two issues:

1). Is there a driving hazard?
You know the answer to that one...

2). Can I live with the aesthetic wart?

Only you can answer that one! I'd personally have a local, reputable wheel shop repair look at it and give me an opinion if it's fixable and to what degree??
