Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona

My son and I went to the Rolex for the first six hours this afternoon into the early evening. We are going to go back in the morning and watch the finish as well. Took some shots from the new grandstands…awesome seats way up high…you can see the entire track and even all the way to the ocean from up there.

The BMWs in the GTLM Class were holding their own with the Corvettes, Porsches, and Ferraris…awesome to watch! Lots of spinouts going into the horseshoe, and we had a great vantage point. Not a lot of people there, so we were all over in the place. We are heading to the infield tomorrow.

Nice! That's on my bucket list. Did you go with the CCA group that had access to Turner's garage?

No…bought tickets for the grandstands only today, and have some free infield tickets for tomorrow.
