Which look do you prefer?
Taking an informal survey to see what you guys like with the aftermarket looks that we have available to the X5/X6 communities.
Do you prefer Lumma, Hamann, Mansory, Vorsteiner, or other? Or do you just prefer certain pieces of the kit, and what combo would you put together? Also wheel and rim styles are more varied, so which do you like? Pics always helpful of other members cars too! Thanks |

Vorsteiner - only one I've seen that doesn't look ridiculous - IMHO
I'm more for subtle changes than "looks like after market pep boys version". |

Vorsteiner for subtle "mature" look and Hamman for the "way out there" look. I would go for the whole kit on any kit you get, just because it looks complete.

Hamann for the sporty look.
In reality, I would like to use the stock front, and performance side & rear add-ons. For some reason I like the stock front more than performance front. It's just my taste, I am weird Last edited by zerrantoss; 01-10-2011 at 03:47 PM.. |

Love Vorsteiner... but it will take a year for them to make a kit for the car. They will tell you 4-6 weeks and you won't see it for 4-6 months if you are lucky. That is how these guys do business. Their products are great though. If you are patient, Vorsteiner is the way to go.

Vorsteiner # 2 choice Both on body kits, I think the X6 does not need any interior mods IMO |

I prefer HAMANN as you can see. This bumper is aggressive and not over the top.

Which bumper is this? It is not the same as the tycoon. Do you have otehr pieces on your car right now or just the front? Would like to see other picks of other pieces if you have them.

Ultimas thanks for the link! It actually showed several other kits as well.
OF the Hamann pieces, I like the M bumper much more than the Evo. The M keeps the aggressive front end without overdoing it. And I dont like the rear of the Tycoon. It seems to closed in. There was one by Enco Exclusive that was terrible. It softened the look of the X6M waaaaay too much. Lumma is growing on me. Another question: is anyone really putting these badges all over the car? I realize the model cars will have Lumma and Hamann all over them, but I really dont see the point in changing out the badges. Personal taste I guess. |
